Avon 2 Frame Supported Glazing Bars

Glazing bars are designed for jointing 10 & 16mm thick polycarbonate on timber framed roofs, but are robust enough to self-support on spans up to 600mm. Designed by C&A and manufactured in England. Avon bars have a strong aluminium 58mm wide core, which is capped top & bottom by a brown or white uPVC cladding, the caps totally conceal the metalwork and give a good thermal insulation. For end bars use the same glazing bar and fit an edge bead featured.

Choose to add the end caps now by ticking the box and save time, if you prefer you can add these when you buy your other accessories

10mm End Bar Infills

10mm Edge Beads are used with Glen & Avon system glazing bars when using 6 & 10mm sheets. They are used to provide a finish to the first and last bar in roof. They have been specially designed to mimic a polycarbonate sheet so as to allow the correct loading when the top cap of the glazing bar is pushed home ensuring a uniform pressure on the polycarbonate sheets when fixed down.

16mm End Bar Infills

PVC Wall Flashing

Can be used as an alternative to lead flashing, simply screw fix to the wall with 30mm (SPP30) polytop screws and seal along the top edge. This flashing is also for use with Peak 65 Wall plates and is supplied with the peak 130 wall plate, although you will require 18mm (SP18) polytop screw.

Important Notice

All Plastic Building Materials should be kept flat during transport and storage. If the items are to be stacked then care must be taken not to overload the stack so as to crush the lower products, it it extremely important that all materials are covered with a LIGHT PROOF sheet to prevent direct sunlight over heating the interior of the stack.
